An attempt to organize those persons effected by the poor quality and lack of support for the Motorola Xoom Family Edition Android tablet. The Xoom FE was released in Q3 and sold by Best Buy Inc. At the release of Googles' Android 4.0 ICS, Motorola released the statement on their website that the device is upgrade-able to Android 4.0, Nothing has come of this claim. The "Official" updates page stated initially that the update would be released in the Second Quarter of 2012. However in Q2' Motorola pushed the update back to Q3' and released the statement that if ICS didn't improve the device they would not make the effort to update the device. I saw this as a cop-out. Basically saying to consumers, we have your money and do not plan on wasting our resources to do as promised.

If it were simply a matter of having updated software consumers around the country would be mostly silent. The problem is that the devices current software is horrible. Beside constant reboots, random browser "force Close"'s and the incredibly lethargic performance is motorola releasing a steady stream of updates for other devices. I have contacted my states Consumer Protection Agency and filed a formal complaint against Motorola Mobility and Best Buy. I am hoping to get my money back for the device. Nothing more, Nothing Less. I urge you all to do the same.

I have included a link to the Ohio Attorney Generals' Consumer Complaint Form.
